How to pick a pineapple

This Week I Learned…

For any international readers, Dymocks is a bookstore. So it’s confusing why she even mentioned it and anyway I’m pretty sure they don’t have that sign.

I have now tried this trick twice (yes, I eat a lot of pineapple—it’s in season!) The pineapples were both ripe but also they weren’t that delicious so I’m not sure if it’s a complete success. Maybe I should have asked if there’s a trick to know if it’s going to be delicious.

I asked a different man that very question this morning about melons and he said yes there is a good way to tell if a melon is ripe and delicious…
